About Duh!FridayClub

Duh!Fridayclub is a fashion blog all about 5 different personalities and styles but coming together to come up with our own take of fashion and to share our opinions with what is unique and what is inspirational.

We’re not educating you on the do’s or don’ts of fashion but giving the public not one, but 5 different opinions from different styles so you can relate to whoever is more close to YOUR style.

The different personalities and styles that keep the blog going:
Ivan Ong - the quirky one
Sherlyn Kovilpillai - the minimalist
Nathasha Lopez - the sporty one
Aina - the grunge
Geneieve Teo - the classic.

In it to win it

Duh!FridayClub have been participants in this blogging project for the past 13 weeks with our blog fixated on fashion for a topic. The end of our reign on this platform would be concluded at the Blogger Challenge’s end with the final results and judging.

Bring me to the courtroom!

Over the next 3 weeks, a panel of Singapore’s most popular bloggers will cast their expert eye over the team blogs. They will be looking for that something special that sets one of the blog apart from all others.

The judging panel will feature popular bloggers like motorsports blogger and photojournalist Cheryl Tay, Bryan Choo of Smart Local and Alfred Siew of Tech Goondu.

The blogs will be judged based on:

  • ORIGINAL CONTENT
  • CREATIVITY
  • VISUAL APPEAL
  • ENGAGEMENT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE AND MORE…

We will also be seeing and hearing from the full-time bloggers on their secrets to a successful blog and top tips on engaging audiences online. What the experts have to say would help bloggers all around the Singapore to improve on their own blogs as well.

That’s what he said

Blogging is more than writing. It is more to how your reputation is being built up. Not only does it need good PR skills but good journalism skills as well. Imagine having Charles Dickens writing on your blog. Good, isn’t it? But there’s no point if there’s no traffic coming into your blog. Gaining traffic and reputation is what’s more important than what’s in the blog. Having that would make you half a winner. A full winner? Having your readers sharing about your blog, retweet your content and making your videos go out there.
